Amazon.com is looking for a photography assistant with the ability to thrive in an fast paced, high volume digital studio environment. This Assistant's primary responsibility will be organize, clean and prep footwear and apparel samples for photography. Will be responsible for contributing, maintaining and updating style guides, making continual process improvements and maintaining the documentation for these improvements.   May also be asked to support photographer with tasks such as setting up lights as well as other general studio tasks, such as organization and maintenance of studio and styling supplies.
 
Successful candidates will be strong communicators, very detail-oriented, have a passion for photography and styling, patience, and a sharp mind. This position requires an individual that is a multi-tasker and a quick problem solver. This position requires a superb eye for visual composition and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain a high quality of work in a fast paced environment while remaining flexible. Be a strong team player. A sense of humor is as important as strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

2 year or 4 year degree in photography and/or related field

* 1+ years of digital product studio experience
* A strong online portfolio of print and online materials that demonstrate expertise in applied techniques and an obsession for delighting customers.
* Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
* Working knowledge of Photoshop, Leaf Capture and/or Phase One expertise in both Macintosh (OSX) and PC computer platforms
* Unix and/or SQL skills a plus
