Amazon.com is looking for a photographer with the ability to thrive in an fast paced, high volume digital studio environment. This studio is a production environment, almost exclusively product on white, focusing  on footwear, handbags and accessories. You will be responsible for executing high-quality digital photography for Amazon’s online catalog, maintaining consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity.
 
This position requires decisive on-set troubleshooting of photography challenges, balances individual productivity and execution, while maintaining high standards for shooting web-based images.   Ultimately responsible for the quality and appearance of photographs online: has a deep understanding of all stages of the photography process, and provides direction as needed to assistants, stylists, and retouchers.
 
Successful candidates will be strong communicators, detail-oriented, have a passion for photography, a sense of humor,  patience, and a sharp mind. Most of all, successful candidates are tech-savvy, shop online, and brim with insanely great ideas that fill up their spare time.
 

Qualifications
* 2 year or 4 year degree in photography and/or related field
* 2+ years of digital studio product photography experience
* A strong online portfolio of print and online materials that demonstrate applied knowledge of  digital photography, lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics.
*  Working knowledge of Photoshop,  Capture One Pro and/or Leaf Capture  expertise in both Macintosh (OSX) and PC computer platforms
* Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
* Unix and/or SQL skills a plus
