The Sales Development Director is primarily responsible for developing and implementing new business strategies to increase sales in existing areas and garner new sales in prospective categories.

 

This position requires an ability to manage simultaneous projects with strong written and verbal communication skills.  It also requires an ability to work closely with other members of the sales team as well as the promotion and marketing departments.

 

The Sales Development Director should have excellent presentation skills; a strong understanding of promotions, marketing and client needs; and an ability to think strategically with an understanding of the “big picture.”
