The Photo Editor is responsible for sourcing photographers for stories and delivering assignments on deadline and on budget. This position works closely with the Art director to establish photo deadlines; executes editorial concepts; tracks the status of stories; prepares images for print production; and acts as liaison between the photo and edit staffs.
The ability to identify creative solutions for photo illustrations is essential, as well as strong research skills with stock and photo agencies. Experience with art filing preferred.
