Prepare and deliver accurate reports for newscasts as well as report and research compelling content for multiple platforms as assigned.
• Anchor newscasts as assigned
• Must be able to consistently speak and write clearly
• Report live on location
• Research, develop, shoot, write, edit and produce content for multiple platforms
• Perform various community service activities for station as assigned
• Periodically required to drive personal or company vehicle to cover various assignments
• Must connect on camera with a sense of urgency
• Must demonstrate strong news judgment and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under intense pressure and deadlines
• Must have good creative and editorial judgment.
• Strong working knowledge of journalistic ethics and libel law
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:
1. BS/BA in related discipline.
2. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in related field. Anchor experience in medium to large market preferred. Certification is required in some areas.
3. Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
4. Must have valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
