University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.
Library and Learning Resources (LLR) is a University wide department that offers a variety of high quality services in support of teaching, learning and research.
Based at London College of Fashion library you will undertake desk duties and assist with the Saturday service.
You will have experience of working in a library, learning resources, information or customer service environment. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organisational and IT skills and the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team are essential. You will have previous experience of working in a library, learning resources or information service or in a customer service environment.
Familiarity with the use of information and communications technology and knowledge of electronic information services are essential as are excellent IT, numeracy, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. This role has responsibility for cash handling at service points.
The post holder will be asked to work 38 weeks per year, 5.5 hours on Saturday and 3 hours during the week with the LCF team.
