Job Description

You will be involved in the research and development of the various areas of stem cell and developmental biology, genome technology & biology, transcriptional networks, cytogenetics, human genetics, systems biology and cancer biology & pharmacology.

For candidate selected for R&D in cytogenetics, he or she will be part of a team working on the identification of chromosomal rearrangements that are important to human cancer and disease development. The laboratory has a diverse research program ranging from karyotyping to DNA analysis (microarray technology).

Requirements
    * A Master’s or good Honours Degree in Life Science
    * For those applying for R&D in cytogenetics, he/she must possess relevant experience in cell culture, harvesting, G-banding and karyotyping. In addition, those with experience in molecular biology, FISH, microarray analysis and Nucleic acid manipulation will be considered
    * For those applying for R& D in other areas, experience in molecular biology, cell culture, mouse care, in-situ hybridization, cell biology, biochemistry, recombinant protein expression, DNA/RNA extraction, expression, microarray analysis and bioinformatics would be advantageous
    * Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
