Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated field based researcher to work in partnership with Natural England to organise, implement and develop seabird research for the Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Special Protection Area. With over 200,000 birds this is one of the most important seabird colonies in England. You will develop and lead a field team to research specific themes to help understand the colony, its interactions with other activities and so help inform its conservation and that of the wider North Sea. You will have a good knowledge of seabirds, experience of conducting fieldwork and research and be capable of keeping accurate records of collected data.
