Job Description

SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to assure the safe and secure storage of all Reimbursement Operations (ROPS) related documentation in the BORIS Imaging System, which will result in the effective and timely retrieval of documents by the ROPS teammates as necessary, ensuring department goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

§          Assure timely routine pick-up of documents from the Reimbursement Operations

(ROPS) Departments throughout each workday.

§          Monitor and assure the timely, accurate and efficient preparation, scanning and

indexing of documents and cash batches received in the Image Center.

§          Assure the timely and effective transfer of scanned and indexed documents for off-

site records retention, as well as the ability to retrieve documents that have been sent

to off-site storage.

§          Develop and review departmental processes and procedures and develop tools to

increase the efficiency and productivity of team members.

§          Continually analyze daily work in every phase of the Imaging Center to efficiently

streamline departmental operations.

§          Maintain the integrity of the Imaging Center database and assure the ongoing

improvement of its functionality and stability through timely communication of issues

or concerns impacting the effectiveness of the Image Center Team as well as

assistance with testing new software releases.

§          Assure the proactive maintenance of all hardware within the Imaging Center to

assure that it is 100% operational as needed to maintain the effectiveness of the

Department.

§          Educate Reimbursement Operations (ROPS) teammates as it relates to the policies,

procedures and practices of the Imaging Center.

§          Provide for the appropriate staffing of the Imaging Center, including hiring, training,

performance improvement, communication and terminations.

§          Solicit routine feedback from the customers as to how to improve service of the

Image Center.

§          Track and communicate the appropriate metrics to evaluate the success of the Image Center.

§          Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
 
 

·          Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or

·          One to two years related experience and/or training; or

·          Equivalent combination of education and experience.

·          Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical

o         procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure

o         manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients,

o         customers, and the general public.

·          Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,

o         commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic

o         algebra and geometry.

·          Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in

o         situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in

o         written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
