- We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to support Digg’s marketing programs and tactics. The ideal candidate will be extremely proactive, flexible and has a consumer marketing background. S/he should have a personal passion for web technologies, work effectively within a team environment and be comfortable working in a highly self-directed manner.
- Responsibilities

- Drive and execute marketing programs to drive user growth and retention.
- Drive email testing, reporting and outreach activities.
- Drive end-to-end event planning and execution.
- Support web analytics projects to drive relevant consumer insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Develop messaging, website copy and marketing collateral.
- Support market research activities, trend and competitive analysis to help define marketing and product strategies.
- Drive return on investment on marketing programs and track spending across multiple marketing projects.
- Qualifications

- At least 6-8 years overall business experience. At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in product marketing, brand management or consulting.
- Bachelors degree required and a top tier MBA a plus.
- Experience with a major online consumer brand or consumer brand (CPG) strongly preferred.
- Must have broad experience across marketing disciplines including positioning, marketing communications, market research, new product/feature launch, promotion/advertising and sales.
- Experience in marketing/brand management that includes: creation and execution of marketing programs and tactics, experience managing external vendors and agencies, experience managing marketing communications, with proven ability to direct creative to achieve marketing objectives and experience in new media, and driving non-traditional guerilla, viral and/or event marketing.
- Strong verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bias to action and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast paced start-up environment.
- Comfortable shifting quickly between strategic and tactical modes of work.
- Strong project management, leadership and decision making skills.
- Demonstrated drive for results.
