Job Description:

The Marketing Manager in this rapidly growing start-up will work closely with Marketing, Game Development, Design and Sales to bring PlayFirst games to consumers around the world. As one of the top publishers in the casual games space, PlayFirst occupies a unique space in the market, working with both game developers as well as online and traditional channel partners. You will report to the Director of Product Marketing. The Marketing Manager is a dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can passionately launch games and promotions to our consumers. He or she will be able to confidently and diplomatically interact with cross-functional partners, lead the development of high-impact creative projects with the design team, and execute go-to-market plans delivering measurable results. .

Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales, marketing and product teams to deliver break-through, measurable go-to-market strategies for game launches
  • Manage and oversee development of creative materials for game launches and PlayFirst.com promotions
  • Provide ROI analysis on all go-to-market activities based on sales and traffic analysis
  • Define the communication process across PlayFirst to ensure timely and accurate information exchange for game launches
  • Identify key trends among competitors in game promotion to ensure we’re always breaking through the clutter
  • Oversee creation of sales materials and brand guidelines for key franchises
  • Assist with the planning, implementation and analysis of consumer research including usability research and play testing
  • Handle all legal, licensing and partner approvals for marketing

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of product marketing experience, preferably in online media or entertainment
  • Strong team player, flexible and adaptable
  • Strong business acumen, organization and analytical skills
  • A firm understanding of creative management and production deliverables
  • A firm understanding of online media, execution and measurement
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Able to handle multiple and often competing priorities
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well with creative teams
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
