Head of YouTube and Media Platforms Marketing EMEA

The EMEA YouTube marketing team is responsible for the marketing the company's exceptional product to end users, partners and customers on an EMEA basis. Our approach is to embrace the strength of the product and pace of innovation to drive marketing programs that are as entrepreneurial, data-driven and respectful of our users as YouTube itself.

The role: Head of YouTube and Media Platforms Marketing EMEA - London

This is a high-adrenaline role requiring deep media and/or technology consumer marketing experience in a leading media and/or consumer technology company. You will be working closely with our product, PR and partnerships teams to assure that we have consistent marketing plans and initiatives and working globally with the Global YouTube marketing team and be a key member of the EMEA YouTube management group.
Responsibilities:

    * Develop full consumer and customer launch plans for EMEA (and each country) and be accountable for driving plans through to implementation.
    * Define/Refine brand values for YouTube in EMEA and in each country.
    * Develop marketing programs (campaigns, events, partnerships etc.) to drive growth of users, usage, brand perception and customer base.
    * Manage directly the central YouTube marketing team and in matrix country YouTube marketing employees and also manage and allocate EMEA YouTube marketing budget.
    * Build and manage brand perception tracking tool/process to monitor brand development and the impact of different marketing activities and assess return on investment of marketing activities.

Requirements:

    * MSc/MBA degree required with strong academic performance.
    * Significant experience in media and/or technology consumer marketing in a leading media and/or consumer technology company.
    * Track record of experience in working at or with online publisher businesses, and familiarity with online and sales tools preferred.
    * Solid Pan-EMEA/multi-country marketing and management experience.
    * Superior business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
    * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior executive leadership.
