KTUU-TV is offering an exciting opportunity for a hard working, self-starting reporter to become part of Alaska’s strongest TV news team. Channel 2 News, which has dominated TV news in Alaska for more than two decades has a full-time opening for a general assignment reporter.
Pay depends on experience and full benefits are offered with this position.
We’re looking for someone with at least one year of news reporting experience in a commercial station. This is not an entry-level position. We may be ranked as market #150, but because of our staff size and commitment to quality we are more like a top 50 station.
Applicants must be strong writers with good news sense and possess a natural curiosity for every day events. We have no shortage of incredible stories to cover…from Sarah Palin and politics to global warming and polar bears. It’s a chance for someone to chronicle life in the Last Frontier while experiencing some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
