Rip Curl Australia is on the search... for an exceptional Senior Designer to join our Menswear Design Team located at our Global Head Office in Torquay, Victoria.

 

We are looking for an extremely organised person who is able to meet challenging deadlines in a fast paced environment. Excellent initiative, lateral thinking and a proactive approach to work is essential in this role.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years industry experience & will display strong creative skills, a team based attitude, a passion for surf /boardriding cultures and the ability to understand the surf market / consumer as well as design both commercial and directional product. You'll need to have excellent skills on mac based software applications such as in Design, Illustrator and Photoshop and experience in Quest will be of benefit.

 

The successful candidate will have experience in designing denim, walkshorts and/or shirts and have sound knowledge on both fabric and garment construction in these areas.
